| '97 magnavox mod.TR2502 C101, chassis 25B800-7562, no pic. or sound. when pushing on button, power relay(omronG5P-1A) clicks twice quickly-and that's all the set will do. fuse is good, resoldered flyback-no difference. set is getting power past fuse but rear(neck) of CRT doesn't lite up. is relay bad or problem elsewhere? thanks alot! |

| I know this an old message, but here goes. There are three things to check/replace. There is a 100uF 200 Volt cap near the flyback-Replace. Near the STR30130 regulator is a cap, I think it's a 10uf 50v or a 100uf, near the left front of the IC. It will cause earily or repeat failure of the STR30130. Last the STR30130 if pin 4 is not running 130v then replace. PS - Resolder the connections on the driver transformer and all high power resistors that solder has either ringed or discolored due to heat. This should fix most problems. AC SPARKS |
